I wanted to take an opportunity to announce my new Advice column, which will be hosted at GayNewEngland.net. I am very excited about this venture, and am thankful for the exposure your website has provided me in my journey in freelance. The column is called simply; ask Uncle Mikey.
Your site has given me confidence that I needed, to reach out and query. To accept rejection as part of the process. To continue working at my craft. While this is a baby step, I believe it is a good one.
I will of course continue writing and submitting to your site, as I believe it will help me in my journey and growth as a writer. I referenced your website as where my other work can be viewed, in my byline. I hope that you will accept my gratitude in this matter. Thank you for all your time and promotion of my work. Like I said before. It is a brilliant site helping the unknown writer.
